Call

Late-Breaking Work (LBW) is an opportunity for researchers, practitioners, and industry professionals to present emerging ideas, preliminary results, and novel concepts in areas of HCI. This track is designed to showcase cutting-edge research that is still in progress but offers promising contributions to the field. We welcome submissions on a wide range of topics as listed on the main programme page.

Topics of Interest

We welcome submissions on a wide range of topics, including but not limited to:

  • Empirical evaluation of interactive systems
  • User studies incorporating AI
  • AI for accessibility
  • System designs and novel interfaces
  • Interaction Design and AI

Submission Guidelines

  • Paper Length: LBW papers should up to a maximum of 8 pages, excluding references. Appendices are optional, but should not exceed 3 pages in length.
  • Formatting: Please adhere to the Electronic Workshops in Computing paper format. Authors should submit their paper in PDF format.
  • Originality: Submissions must present original work not previously published or under review elsewhere.

Review Process:

All papers will undergo a double-blind peer review process. Authors should ensure that their submissions are anonymized. Rejected papers may be given the option to submit as a poster instead.

Presentation

Accepted papers will be presented during the conference in oral sessions. At least one author must register and attend the conference to present the work.

Publication

Accepted full papers will be published in the conference proceedings, accessible via ScienceOpen. All LBW submissions are semi-archival. Authors may re-use and re-submit the content to other peer-reviewed venues.
